Assam black tea
The quality of water used as an impact on the quality of the tea. Always use freshly drawn water or filtered water. Heat water to the recommended temperature using an electric hot water heater or a stove top kettle.

Heat fresh water to rolling boil or to a temperature of 212F.

Infusion Time
Once the water reaches the appropriate temperature, it should be poured immediately over the tea leaves. Keep the teapot covered to retain heat. Time steeping carefully and infuse for 5-7 minutes. When the tea is done steeping, immediately remove the tea and lightly stir.

    Finally figured the best preparation....back at a more usual amount of tea, I use 3 tsp for my small pot, and steep it much longer than my favourite broken leaf Barooti assam (purple box). I would recommend either Ahmad assam tea as a wonderful cuppa. I am enjoying a pot as I type.

    I tried this tea because I like assam teas. I still prefer the barooti assam in the purple box. Working on the best preparation and amount of leaves to use has been an unusual challenge. I keep adding more tea leaves to to make it stronger and it still is a bit subtle for my liking.
